The Cake Froster keeps the display case fully stocked, and maintains appropriate par levels of additional cakes. Cake Frosters keep the frosting station clean, sanitized, and running efficiently. Guest Services Representative Description:The Guest Services Representative serves our guests in person and over-the-phone with creative celebration solutions in a warm and welcoming environment. Guest Services Representatives assist the Crafting department, perform light cleaning, and some clerical duties. Bake Assist Description:The Bake Assist helps other departments as necessary, scooping cake batter, flipping cakes, folding boxes, labeling containers, etc.Compensation:The Bakery Associate will earn a minimum of $10.50 per hour to start.Candidatesmay be further compensated based on their experience, drive, ability to learn quickly, and desire to improve. Additional compensation is available, including performance bonuses and other perks Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:Bake Assist:Scoops cake batter into cake pansFlips baked cakes into containers and wraps large cakes to prepare for frostingTakes empty cake pans to Utility for washingFolds cake boxes, labels containers, etc.Assists other departments as necessaryCake Froster:Makes cake frosting when amount goes below par levelFrosts all cakes for same-day and next-day ordersFold cake boxesKeep frosting area clean and sanitized including tables, microwave, and tool binsAssist guests placing phone ordersAssist other departments as necessaryGuest Services Representative:Introduce walk-in guests to our bakery and our products with a guest tourKeep case in retail area stocked with Bundtlets, 8", and 10" cakes, and back-up sample traysFold cake boxesAssist guests with walk-in orders while using creative celebration solutionsSuggest balloon sales, show retail items, and up-sell with candles and cardsAssist guests placing phone ordersGive cake presentations while performing quality control testsOperate & balance point of sale (POS) with accuracy and efficiencyGather guest email addresses for our eClubMaintaining a strong knowledge of NbC's products, prices, and promotionsKeep retail area clean, swept, and neatly merchandisedDust all retail surfaces, including all counter tops, and POS stationsPerform duties assigned by Crafting department such as fluffing bows and making design piecesAssist other departments as necessaryCandidates must be able to lift 50 pounds.We can't wait to meet youAdditional Information:All employees are eligible for performance bonuses and employee discounts.
