All while understanding that **together** we are even better. **Schedule:** Full Time **Shift** : Days Shift **Location:** AdventHealth - 770 W GRANADA BLVD, Ormond Beach, 32174 **The community you'll be caring for:** Accounting and Finance **The role you'll contribute:** Under the general direction of the Regional Controller, the Regional Accounting Manager is responsible for assisting in the planning and management of the Accounting functions for business units within the CFD-North Region (the "Region") as assigned by the Regional Controller. This position is responsible for all aspects of accounting operations, i.e., audit, tax, fixed assets, fiscal controls, etc. or may be the financial coordinator for a large department or subsidiary. The focus of this position is the development, analysis, interpretation, distribution and use of statistical and financial information by the Region management staff. The Regional Accounting Manager also works closely with the other members of the Regional Accounting department to accomplish the overall goal of providing timely, accurate accounting and financial reporting and analysis, budget and regulatory report preparation for AdventHealth entities. **The value you'll bring to the team:** · Responsible for accuracy of the General Ledger · Coordinates and oversees monthly closing for assigned hospitals, entities or departments. (General Ledger) · Closes the ledgers each month and at year-end, i.e., preparing and posting journal entries, accruals, reconciling balance sheet accounts. (General Ledger) · Responsible for insuring that monthly regulatory, corporate, and internal deadlines are achieved. (General Ledger) · Responsible for the preparation of monthly internal financial statements for the Region. (General Ledger) Qualifications **The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:** · Four year degree in Business Administration, Accounting or related field required. · A graduate degree or advanced licensure/certification is strongly desired. · Excellent computer skills including Word, Excel and Power point required. · A minimum of four years of accounting for hospitals or physician practices or public accounting experience is required.
