Route Planner

Job Overview Route Planner - Irving/ Frisco, Texas The Route Planner is responsible for creating the daily tactical routing and loading plan for the distribution teams. Route Planner is also responsible for providing daily reports to distribution facilities and maintaining the Roadnet Transportation Suite data. Shift and Schedule: + Full-time + Monday- Friday + 2:00PM – finishe d Position Responsibilities + Review previous days route plan and gather adjustments. + Confirm available trucks and drivers available for daily routes. + Efficiently Route Daily Orders based upon established business rules. + Utilize Roadnet to build the daily routes. + Utilize Fleetloader to build pallets and load trucks efficiently. + Provide daily reporting required to manage the delivery routes to the branches. + Must have DOT regulation knowledge.
