We invite you to join us as we strive to be The Most Trusted Partner for Health.The Pharmaceutical Assistance Program Specialist is responsible for cultivating potential program participants while providing a delivery service for patients discharging from Inpatient services. INTEGRIS Health is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.ResponsibilitiesThe Pharmaceutical Assistance Program Specialist responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: * Develops and cultivates relationships with targeted referral sources * Obtains referral and patients information * Educates patients about the various inpatient and outpatient pharmaceutical manufacturer programs and provides informational material regarding the financial qualifications of the programs * Maintains documentation of all financial program paperwork and patient applications * Works with Hospital staff and physician offices in assisting patients with presumptive eligibility patient assistance programs * Handles delivery of medication from transplant clinics to ProHealth Pharmacy and follows up with patients once complete * Creates return on investment analysis for Revenue Recovery * Analyzes and prepares monthly reports for all INTEGRIS Health facilities and Contracting and Revenue Recovery Management team * Manages and maintains accurate information for submitting and tracking all applications in the Medication Replacement database * Analyzes diverse program data, including pharmacy cost, patient charges, and medication delivery across the INTEGRIS Health system The Pharmaceutical Assistance Program Specialist reports to the Manager Pharmaceutical Assistance Program. This position may have additional or varied physical demand and/or respiratory fit test requirements. May involve high volume of referrals and necessity to respond to a wide variety of demands and expectations from patients, and families. Occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens and other infectious materials as defined by OSHA.
