Our client is looking to add a GL Accountant to their team in Hillsboro.
The role reports directly to the accounting manager of the company.

Overview of the role: GL Accountant
Processing daily cash entries.
Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data.
Assist in month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis.
Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
Prepare and file accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual sales & use tax.
Has a strong understanding of GAAP principles.
Preferred Qualifications: GL Accountant
3+ years accounting experience preferred
Ability to work both independently as well as part of a team and can multi-task while staying organized
Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as attention to detail
Proficient with Microsoft Excel functions
