Engineering Test Technician We are seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Engineering Test Technician to support the development, assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of electromechanical and pneumatic systems. This individual will work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure smooth product development and manufacturing transfer. Responsibilities: Assemble and debug pneumatic and electro-mechanical systems with precision. Support verification and validation activities, including writing and executing test protocols and maintaining detailed records. Improve manufacturing processes, including authoring assembly instructions. Assist engineers and other technical staff in debugging and optimizing system performance. Rework electro-mechanical parts and perform precision soldering as needed. Support MRB (Material Review Board) disposition and root cause analysis in production. Identify and assist in second sourcing of off-the-shelf components. Collaborate with Operations to support the manufacturing transfer of new products. Maintain and organize lab spaces, tools, and equipment for efficient workflow. Essential Skills: Associate's degree in Engineering Technology, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related field OR equivalent technical training and experience. Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in electro-mechanical assembly, debug, or hardware prototyping. Proficiency with soldering (through-hole and surface mount). Experience reading mechanical drawings and electrical schematics. Additional Skills & Qualifications: Experience in a regulated industry such as medical devices, aerospace, or automotive. Familiarity with pneumatic system components and testing tools. Experience with test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and pressure sensors. Knowledge of lean manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies. Experience with document control systems or electronic lab notebooks. Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Paul, MN. Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
