The Senior Learning & Development Specialist is responsible to design, develop and deliver aesthetically pleasing, high quality, and engaging projects for use as training materials and projects for internal employees, as well as customer product assets. This would include e-learning, virtual projects, graphics, videos and podcasts, digital badges, job aids, and audio clips for use in our online learning environment. The individual works collaboratively with the Global Learning & Talent Development team, subject matter experts, and other departments and staff across the organization to meet project objectives in support of organizational goals.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manages and guides the production of assigned projects as best-in-class eLearning, audio, video, interactive learning, and visual asset content using the latest technologies including eLearning authoring and design, video, and podcasting
- Design and develop Instructor lead and e-Learning-based content (scormed, AICC, graphics, animation, video, podcasts, social learning, and online materials) in Adobe, our internal online learning platform
- Defines and documents learning objectives specific to training projects and behaviors
- Design training content to optimize learning and engagement
- Collaborates with subject matter experts (SMEs) to produce assets and projects in accordance with program objectives, company brand standards, and instructional design principles (includes outlines, storyboards, drafts in works to final approved project)
- Assists with the development of departmental job aids, graphics, videos, digital imaging, and materials that meet organizational branding standards
- Strong communication, organization, analytical and critical-thinking skills; detail oriented
- Keeps informed and knowledgeable with new training technologies, platforms, techniques, and systems
- Remain current in learning and design trends and advancements to propose innovative learning solutions to solve business needs
- Identify competencies and tools for measuring those technologies and advancements
- Ensure functionality and framework of LMS support goals and program needs
- Stay informed about organizational strategy, performance and obstacles
- Travel required
