SMART is actively recruiting for a locum emergency medicine physician to provide coverage for a client of ours in College Station, TX. Coverage is needed as soon as credentialed and ongoing during permanent recruitment. Qualifications: Active TX license preferred but will consider those with IMLC BC/BE Emergency Medicine EM eligible: Current ATLS, ACLS and PALS are required EM Boarded: ACLS and PALS required to be current, ATLS can be expired but will need a copy of the card. Looking for candidates with at least 3-4 shifts of availability per month. Job Summary: Shift times: 7a-7p; 7p-7a APC Shift Times: 11a-9p Annual Volume: 23,000 Avg. 16% admit rate ED runs codes Back up specialties: FM, IM, General Surgery, Urology, Cardiology, ENT, ID, Neurology and GI consults Level IV trauma center EMR: PICIS Benefits of Working with SMART: Competitive hourly rates SMART covers malpractice insurance Paid travel and accommodations Please contact Angela Cheek at to learn more about this opportunity, or to hear about other openings that we may have available.
