Cook/Prep Cook Job Details Job Location Garners Ferry - Columbia, SC Salary Range $10.00 - $14.00 **Lizards Thicket is looking for professional Cooks/Prep Cooks to prepare country cooking style meals from scratch according to our recipe manuals while observing strict food safety guidelines.**

**Responsibilities:**

* **Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment**

* **Prepare ingredients to use in cooking (chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat etc.)**

* **Cook food in various utensils or grillers**

* **Check food while cooking to stir or turn**

* **Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen**

* **Ensure all food and other items are stored properly**

* **Check quality of ingredients**

* **Ability to read, interpret, and adhere to recipes**

* **Work with other staff as a team and always have a positive, upbeat, energetic attitude**

* **$200 signing bonus on the next available payday after working for 100 hours**
