Summary

Reporting to the IT Manager, this position is responsible for IT-related job duties.

  • Must be able to understand and adhere to strict environmental, health, safety, security and quality policies
  • Ability to read and interpret standard operating procedures
  • Pass pre-employment testing including a physical, drug and alcohol screening, and background check
  • Able to read, write, and speak the English language.
Job Tasks
  • Diagnosis of computer problems of various nature
  • Monitoring of processing systems
  • Software installation, upgrade, and maintenance
  • Setup of computer and network equipment
  • Provide Instruction of users
  • User help desk
  • Procurement of parts and repairs of computer equipment
  • Advanced network troubleshooting, specifically wireless networking issues
  • Basic troubleshooting and coordination of solutions with maintenance personnel and vendors for a variety of devices such as:
    • Vehicle Mounted Terminals
    • Telematic devices
    • Hand scanners
    • Industrial barcode printers.
Qualification and Experience
  • 5 years of experience in IT
  • A+ Certification
  • Advanced knowledge of wireless networking concepts, troubleshooting, and infrastructure
  • 3+ years of IT Help Desk experience
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft OS (Windows 7, 10, Server 2012 - 2019)
  • Microsoft Active Directory
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
