MBR Partners are proud to represent our client's search for a US , California or Seattle based Presales Engineer for its clients who are providing critical solutions to Enterprise, Messaging Service Providers (MSP) and Communication Service Providers (CSP) by delivering creative, strategic services critical to streamlining operations and reducing operating costs. The company was founded 20 years ago delivering phone number portability, signaling routing control and fraud prevention data services for companies in the messaging and fraud preventation arenas. Today, as communications networks continue to transform, that includes the likes of Microsoft ; Meta ; Amazon and such like. We are hiring a highly motivated and experienced professional to join the team as a Presales engineer. The ideal candidate will be responsible for playing a critical role in supporting the sales team by providing technical expertise, product knowledge, and customized solutions to potential clients during the pre-sales process. This position requires a combination of technical proficiency in phone number intelligence ; messaging IMS and have effective communication skills, and a deep understanding of customer needs.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Telecommunication Number Fraud Prevention Specialist Pressales engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and optimizing fraud prevention strategies and technologies to ensure the security and reliability of our clients' communication networks.

Telecommunications

Knowledge of Telecommunications message and voice routing architectures, and the

associated datasets used to facilitate real time communications.

Knowledge of Telecommunications core network operations, including security architectures

and solutions.

Ability to draw detailed call flows and sequence diagrams and knowledge of the protocol

specifications.

Understanding of telephony concepts from Core, Edge, and Provisioning of the carrier’s

architecture, including legacy SS7/C7 concepts and 3G/4G/5G networks.

Knowledge of the following signaling protocols: SS7, SIP, ENUM, Diameter, HTTP2.

Infrastructure and Operations

Understanding of Linux OS, software packaging, OS operations and upgrades.

Understanding of the technical requirements tied to Virtualization and Cloud Computing:

NFV, OpenStack, KVM, VMware, Ansible, Containers, Kubernetes etc.

Knowledge of Security or Analytics is an advantage.

Knowledge of OA&M concepts and operations like backup/restore, KPIs, monitoring, alarms

etc.
