This position requires excellent clinical and surgical skills (specifically in high-risk corneal grafts, limbal stem transplants, keratoprosthesis etc.), dedication to academic medicine, and commitment to teamwork and professional growth. Primary clinical activity will occur at the Johns Hopkins Wilmer Eye Institute in Baltimore with potential for some clinical effort at one of the Wilmer Eye Institute practice locations. The candidate will also be a faculty in the Department of Ophthalmology at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and will engage in teaching of fellows and ophthalmology residents in addition to research activities. The referenced salary range reflects base pay, which is based on faculty rank and years in rank. This salary range does not include all components of the Department of Ophthalmology faculty compensation program or pay from participation in the Department of Ophthalmology incentive compensation programs. Qualifications Candidates must have successfully completed an ACGME accredited ophthalmology residency training program and/or be certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology or be board eligible.
