MES Technical Analyst

Normal, ILResponsibilitiesConfiguration of new products/revision, such as product line mapping, routing, station process matrix, BOM configuration, and parent-child configurationPropose and Implement MES solutions to improve manufacturing processes, such as cycle-time improvement and scrap reduction.Evaluate requirements and design solutions, considering the pros and cons and limitations of Rockwell's FTPC software.Design and specify integration between the MES solution and process equipment, collaborating with controls engineers.Review test plans and testing methodology to mitigate risks and participate in testing to ensure functional and non-functional requirements are met.Customize or develop new configurations in the MES solution to continuously improve manufacturing processes.Provide level 2/3 support for MES operations, ensuring maximum uptime for the MES application by working with stakeholders and teams.Conduct root cause analysis on chronic and sporadic issues to ensure reliability of the MES application.Collaborate with business stakeholders/users to finalize requirements and provide functional MES solutions.Create and maintain technical support documents, instructional guidelines, process flow diagrams, and training materials for business users.Skill/Expertise:5-10 years of experience working as a Business Analyst, Technical Analyst, or similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.Strong understanding of manufacturing systems, processes, and workflows.Proficient in system analysis, process mapping, and requirements gathering.Experience with manufacturing software and systems such as Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems.Familiarity with database concepts, SQL, and data analysis tools.Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues, propose solutions, and drive change.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment.Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with a keen attention to detail.Employee Benefits:We offer a comprehensive benefits package including (for U.S. employment):Medical, dental, vision insuranceHealth Saving Account (HSA)Long term and Short term Disability (LTD)(STD)401k retirement optionsPaid Time offHoliday Paid time offEmployee Referral Bonus#J-18808-Ljbffr
