Talent Acquisition and Recruitment Advisor @ ConstructConnect This position is within the Product Management division, accountable for the success of our software solutions by working cross?functionally with teams that develop, market, sell, and support them. Product Managers will help execute the product strategy by working closely with user experience, development squads, and product strategy leaders to ensure quality products are released on time. They own and manage detailed requirements, communicate through agile development tools, develop prioritized roadmaps with incremental releases, and keep stakeholders informed. They pursue user?centered design and evaluate work?in?progress features with UX analysts to ensure delightful experiences. What Youll Be Doing Product Definition Embrace the agile product development process adopted by ConstructConnect: Think It Build It Ship It Tweak It Actively participate in "design thinking" exercises to help define product opportunities and find solutions. Leverage Voice of the Customer and Voice of the Organization to solve problems and articulate feedback to agile teams. At the end of Think It, break down features into incremental deliverables (stories) and collaborate with UX/UI teams to deliver appropriate design packages. Articulate new feature definitions in detail and work with agile teams to develop achievable roadmaps and timelines. Business Planning Assist Product Strategy managers in developing product OKRs aligned with business strategy. Track and report product OKRs and other metrics regularly. Product Planning Break down high?level requirements and collaborate with leaders and UX teams to define incremental releases. Manage feature development and enhancements from concept through design to execution. Define the product release roadmap for at least two quarters and communicate it regularly to stakeholders. Influence Product Strategy Managers on product roadmaps with knowledge of current capabilities. Product Delivery Collaborate with scrum masters, agile teams, and stakeholders to ensure proper deliverables. Work with UX and Product Strategy managers to document key customer value and communicate it to GTM teams. Participate in evangelizing new features internally and externally. Technical Skills Be a product expert and go?to person on new products and services. Keep abreast of internal and external technologies relevant to our product growth. Leadership Work individually and occasionally manage others depending on level. Drive strategy and progress with one or more scrum teams. Collaborate with UX/UI colleagues to detail and groom features. Communicate product status and VOC results to teams. Influence product direction with Product Strategy leaders. Set direction and influence messaging during releases. Manage scope and quality, coordinate dependencies across teams. Influence product line priorities and GTM/business priorities. Breadth Interact with peer groups, SMEs, and UX colleagues to acquire product knowledge. Have sufficient knowledge of cloud?based software components to accelerate backlog grooming. Interact frequently with customers to capture detailed requirements. Know features well and serve as key point of contact for stakeholders. Influence product strategy across the product line. Engage leadership and stakeholders in key decisions. Complex Thinking Use judgement to evaluate business goals, customer objectives, and industry trends, guiding multiple product developments. Communication Present UX intent for new features. Manage expectations with stakeholders on short?term roadmaps. Build partnership with GTM teams and communicate customer value and roadmaps. Inform development squads of roadmaps and VOC findings. Articulate product vision to customers focusing on competitive differentiation. Advocate product roadmaps to leadership and stakeholders. Act as primary contact for GTM members and development squads. This job description does not imply that the duties listed are the sole responsibilities of the role. What You Bring to the Team Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field required. Minimum 3?5 years of product management or product analyst experience. Past involvement in supporting business development initiatives. Experience in a software?as?a?service company a plus. Knowledge of the commercial construction or software industry a plus. Physical Demands and Work Environment Frequent sitting, telephone communication, and extended computer work; visual acuity required. Maintain a dedicated ergonomic remote workspace. Remote work with in?office presence on Tuesdays and Wednesdays if residing within commuting distance of Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky or Atlanta offices. Must reside and work within the United States.
