POSITION OBJECTIVE:

Assist the Human Resource Manager to develop a safe and positive work culture. Provide HR support

and customer service to all employees.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Communicate regularly with management regarding staffing and employee issues

Maintain employee records, upload, and file all paperwork

Partner with supervisors and managers on employee issues and corrective actions.

Inform managers/supervisors on attendance concerns and issue attendance warnings

Update and maintain Timecards, Attendance and Paid Time Off in appropriate systems

Responsible for recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new hires

Assist with New Hire Orientation

Conduct pre-employment and post-accident drug tests

Enter and maintain employee training records

Complete wage and employment verifications for requesting agencies

Assist with benefits administration and education for employees

Prepares reports and human resources information as requested

Organize and promote company engagement activities and functions

Assist employees with questions or concerns

Update company communication avenues

Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE:

Associates or Bachelors degree in related field preferred

3-5 years human resources experience preferred

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES:

Knowledge gained through on-the-job training of company products, policies, and procedures

Ability to pay close attention to detail

Skill in multitasking and time management

Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.

Knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization's HRIS systems.

Ability to function cooperatively and effectively in a team environment with peers and personnel in other departments
