SUMMARY OF JOB: Under the Direct supervision of the MRI Supervisor, performs examinations as outlined by Radiologist, utilizing the Magnetic Resonance Imaging Scanner for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment of anatomic and physiologic disorders. CONNECTING TO MISSION: All individuals, within the scope of their position are responsible to perform their job in light of the Mission & Values of the Health System. This tech will be responsible for performing MRI's , ensuring patient safety and paperwork. This tech will work a variable of hours. RECRUITMENT REQUIREMENTS: *Graduate of a two year A.M.A. approved School of Radiologic Technology *A.R.R.T. (American Registry Radiologic Technology) Certification *Advanced MRI Certification required within one year after clinical requirements are met. *Ability to scan MRI procedures independently *Previous experience in cross sectional anatomy preferred. *CPR Certified *Basic knowledge of computers preferred *Ability to take on call hours, weekends and Holidays, occasional weekday/evening. LICENSE AND REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS: A.R.R.T. and/or A.R.M.R.I.T.
