The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where culinary skills are appreciated and developed.ResponsibilitiesPrepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standardsAssist with menu planning and meal presentation to ensure customer satisfactionMaintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area in compliance with food safety regulationsHandle food preparation tasks including chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredientsOperate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and cooking appliancesEnsure proper food handling procedures are followed at all timesSupport catering events by preparing large quantities of food as neededCollaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy hoursFollow all health and safety guidelines to uphold a safe working environmentSkillsProven experience in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant kitchensStrong knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling techniquesExcellent knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniquesExperience with menu planning and catering services is a plusAbility to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environmentGood understanding of food industry practices including food service and fine dining standardsStrong organizational skills with attention to detail in food presentation and quality controlPrevious dietary aide or dietary department experience is advantageous but not requiredAbility to work collaboratively as part of a team in a busy kitchen settingProven experience as a cook in a restaurant settingNight and weekend availabilityDependable with reliable transportationAbility to work well in a team environmentStrong knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelinesAble to follow recipes and instructions accuratelyGood communication and time management skillsValid food handlers permit or ability to obtain oneBlack pants and black non slip shoesCoachable and willing to learn recblid wsokbt471hd8buq6zev2yzlz08q5hg
