Janitorial

The Janitorial Staff will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards within the facility, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for children, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting of all areas including classrooms, offices, restrooms, and common areas.
• Emptying and sanitizing trash receptacles and recycling bins.
• Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and fixtures.
• Replenishing restroom supplies such as toilet paper, soap, and paper towels.
• Cleaning windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces as needed.
• Monitoring and maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies and notifying supervisor when supplies need to be replenished.
• Following proper procedures for handling and disposing of hazardous materials.
• Assisting with setup and cleanup for special events or activities as needed.
• Adhering to all health and safety regulations and protocols.

• Previous experience in janitorial or custodial work preferred.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
  Schedule: Monday to Friday 7:00 am to 3:30 pm
