This role is a bridge between technical cybersecurity teams and IT business focused leadership, influencing IT strategy through a security lens while mentoring less experienced architects, strengthening the organizations overall security posture./ph3Responsibilities/h3ulliGuide projects and IT security designs to ensure robust and cybersecurity compliant solutions, creates and evolves architectural patterns that align with global security standards and addresses the evolving threat landscape./liliDevelop and enforce security architecture policies, providing oversight across diverse projects, and ensuring security controls are integrated into technology solutions in line with business objectives./liliAs principal security advisor, review and influence solution designs and implementation plans to meet enterprise policies and risk tolerance./liliTrack emerging threats and technologies to keep security architecture ahead of the curve./liliTranslate strategic security principles into actionable architectural guidance./liliLead assessments of enterprise-wide architecture to strengthen the overall security posture./liliMonitor and review emerging cybersecurity threats, attack techniques, and regulatory developments to continuously improve policies, patterns, and architectural standards./liliChampion a culture of security innovation, pragmatism, and continuous improvement in how the organization addresses cybersecurity challenges across geographies./liliEnsure security architectural designs align with global data protection regulations and compliance requirements./liliDesign, maintain, evolve reusable security architectural patterns that enable secure-by-design practices across cloud and on-prem environments./liliParticipate in architecture and design reviews of critical IT and digital transformation projects./liliGuide and mentor less experienced security architects./liliCollaborate with the Risk Management and Governance and Compliance teams to define, refine, and enforce cybersecurity policies, standards, and control frameworks, ensuring alignment to NIST CSF and ISO 27001./li/ulh3Minimum Requirements/h3ulliCollege degree or equivalent experience./liliCybersecurity certifications I.e.: CISSP, CISM, Microsoft, Cisco, etc./lili10 years in cybersecurity, 5 in security architecture design./liliAlign security programs architectures with industry standards frameworks (e.g., NIST Cybersecurity Framework, ISO/IEC 27001) compliance requirements (e.g., Payment Card Industry)./liliDesign secure hybrid IT environments (on-premises cloud services) across multi-cloud (Azure/AWS) on-prem systems./liliExposure to highly regulated, safety-critical industries (e.g., aviation or transportation)./liliExpertise in cloud security architecture on Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS)./liliIn-depth understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and controls (especially NIST CSF and ISO 27001 standards)./liliFluency in modern attacker Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs) and strong threat modelling skills, enabling proactive design of defenses against emerging cyber threats./liliSkilled in conducting security architecture assessments and producing high-quality security reference architecture and design patterns that guide development and IT operations teams in secure solution delivery./liliFamiliarity with global compliance and data protection requirements how to incorporate into security designs recommendations./liliMinimal international travel./li/ulh3Physical Requirements/Working Conditions/h3ulliRemain in a stationary position 50% of the time./liliOccasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc./liliConstantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer./liliWalk short distances.
