  1. DEFINITION:

Responsible for preparing all food items in an efficient fashion according to Fudpuckers high quality standards. Portions and prepares food items prior to cooking. Other duties include plating and garnishing cooked items. Responsible for maintaining a sanitary kitchen work area. Also responsible to work as cashier and bartender as necessary.

  1. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

High school graduate or equivalent desired.

Prior food preparation experience desired.

Must be able to communicate and understand the primary language(s) of the work location.

Must be able to work flexible hours; Monday through Sunday for no more than a 25 week seasonal period.

Must be able to work with minimal supervision.

  1. ESSENTIONAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION:

  2. Insures that all food items are prepared and presented in accordance with Fudpuckers recipes, portions, and quality standards.

  3. Works harmoniously with all restaurant personnel to insure quick, responsive service to customers including special requests and complaints.

  4. Attends to the work station as assigned and prepares, inspects, and portions the items as per specifications.

  5. Checks the quality and freshness of food products. Takes measures to avoid food spoilage and control waste.

  6. Thoroughly cleans and sanitizes supplies, equipment, assigned work station and surrounding areas prior to the end of each shift.

  7. Complies with all Fudpuckers policies and procedures as per the Employee Handbook.

  8. May assist others and perform other appropriate duties and routines as requested by the Kitchen Manager or other management personnel.

  9. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS OF POSITION:

  10. Must be able communicate clearly and listen attentively to supervisors, employees, and guest instructions.

  11. Must be able to stand and exert well paced mobility for long periods of time.

  12. Must have the ability to lift pots, pans, etc up to 30 pounds in weight.

  13. Must be able to follow directions.

  14. Must possess dexterity for using small tools and equipments.
