What You'll Do

The Senior Accountant is responsible for processing accounts receivable, conference billing; preparing financial reports; prepping for audits and HOA/board meetings; and assisting with other financial and accounting processes. This position will ensure accurate transaction processing, maintenance of records, and communicate effectively with other departments. This position will lead the team and set an example of the temperament, work ethic, and quality of product for the department. The ideal candidate will be highly detail oriented; able to meet specific deadlines and schedules; analytical and discerning; and proficient working both individually and as a contributor to the team. Position located on-premises in Breckenridge, CO. Full-time, year-round position with benefits eligibility as described.

Position starts at $55,000/yr + DOE

Duties/Responsibilities

Compile transactions and reports and enter them into financial systems Reconcile General Ledger accounts including preparation of schedules and clearing of exceptions Prepare and post journal entries Communicate with other departments, vendors, and guests/owners in regards to General Ledger, Purchasing Orders, etc. Accurately maintain Accounting records and assist with periodic audits Assist Accounting Management with training of department staff

What You'll Bring

2+ years Accounting work experience - required Working knowledge of GAAP - required Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance - preferred Previous experience in Hospitality/HOA/Finance - preferred Proficiency in written and spoken English - required
