Payroll Specialist

Overview of the Payroll Specialist role:

  • Determine time worked, calculate payroll and maintain the payroll database
  • Maintain employee files which relate to payroll issues
  • Handle distribution of all payroll checks
  • Audit the verification and reconciliation process, including ensuring overtime hours and wage calculations are accurate
  • Assist employees with payroll related questions
  • Other duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications for the Payroll Specialist:

  • 2+ years of payroll processing experience
  • Multi-state payroll experience is a plus
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
