Overview:

The Referral and Admissions Specialist will conduct student referral reviews and provide admission services for Stetson School and You Inc. Programs. The Referral and Admissions specialist will work directly with multiple social services agencies from multiple states (DCF, DCYF, DMH, etc.), school districts, individuals, third party payers, and brokers (independent Educational Consultants) as well as multiple Seven Hills program leaders.

Other Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Use Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with all student referral sources.
  • Provide clear and timely communication to all parties involved in the referral process.
  • Comprehensive review of all referral documents and information
  • Schedule and conduct student interview/ Observation and provide tours of our programs.
  • Complete and/or ensure all required admission paperwork is received.
  • Conduct post admission follow up such as ensuring funding and contract documents are in place, state reporting requirements, and out of state insurance/Medicaid approvals are in place.
  • Conduct analyze and report student and funder surveys as needed

The Referral and Admissions Specialist will be provided a paid 10-day New Employee Orientation and receive training on CPR/First Aid, Crisis Prevention Intervention & Trauma-Informed Care. They also receive program-specific training at the worksite.

  • Knowledge of social service agencies, school districts, and educational consultant referral processes.
  • Solid understanding of various state systems of care.
  • Requires a current valid drivers license from state of residence.
