Position Qualifications
  • Must have a valid driver's license with a clean, insurable driving record.
  • Must be over the age of 19
  • Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check.
  • High School Diploma or GED, preferred
$15.50 an hour. Schedule varies

Position Summary

An Auto Porter is a professional who moves vehicles of all types from one location to another. The job requires a clean driving record and exceptional driving and maneuvering skills. The position may also require record-keeping knowledge and the ability to communicate well in person, by phone and in writing. Porters may work in all kinds of weather conditions, so knowledge of all-weather vehicle operations is also essential.

Position Requirements

The ideal candidate is someone who is a quick learner, able to work at a fast pace, and can be self- sufficient. Dealership experience is a plus but we will train the right candidate. Candidates must have a valid Driver's License with a clean, insurable, driving record and a professional appearance.

Job Description

The Lot Attendant is responsible for maintaining inventory in an orderly, efficient manner and that all vehicles are maintained clean, presentable and correctly displayed in order to achieve maximum customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include:
  • Maintains the standard and quality of service of the organization
  • Maintain the overall cleanliness of appearance of the dealership as needed
  • Moves and organizes vehicles as needed in assigned areas
  • Washes and cleans new, used, and service vehicles when required
  • Prepares new and used vehicles for delivery when needed
  • Coordinating work with team members and cross-departments when needed
  • Maintaining proper operation of shop equipment or notifying manager when needed
