Summary

As a Transmission Project Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the planning, design, implementation, and management of transmission projects that support the efficient and reliable movement of energy. Your expertise will ensure projects are executed in compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality benchmarks.

Job Description - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop project plans, schedules, and budgets for transmission infrastructure projects

- Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation, ensuring alignment with industry standards and company guidelines

- Oversee the construction, installation, and commissioning of transmission systems, ensuring adherence to project specifications and safety protocols

- Collaborate with internal teams and external contractors to ensure timely and efficient project execution

- Collaborate with transmission system operators and utilities to ensure seamless integration of new projects into existing infrastructure

- Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes relevant to transmission engineering

Job Requirements

Details:

Job Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; Master's degree is a plus

- Professional Engineer (P.E.) required

- 5+ years of experience in transmission engineering and project management within the utilities or energy sector. Also in civil and structural experience in Electrical Substation Foundation, Oil Containment and Steel Design

- Geotechnical and structural analysis and design calculations related to transmission pole foundations including direct embedment, vibratory, and drilled pier foundations

- Familiarity with industry standards, codes, and regulations governing transmission systems (e.g., NERC, IEEE)

- Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration with stakeholders
