Warehouse Clerk Pay: $20.00 - 22.00 Job Location: 1530 FM 973, Taylor, TX 76574 Job Summary Details: The Warehouse Clerk is responsible for performing general warehouse duties. Basic Qualifications: Must be 18 years of age or older High school diploma or equivalent Previous experience in warehouse or receiving associate role Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds Excellent organizational skills Strong attention to detail Physically able to stand for long periods of time Able to work in a fast-paced environment Able to work independently and as part of a team Preferred Qualifications: One (1) year of similar work experience preferred Forklift experience desired Responsibilities: Receive incoming shipments from various carriers and couriers daily (M-F). Offload freight delivery trucks with manual pallet jacks. Assist carrier in offloading of non-freight delivery trucks. Bill of Lading/Packing Slip verification at point of material receipt. Notate any damage/defect on carrier BOL on all incoming material. Scanning and/or system tracking of material deliveries from carriers. Scanning and/or system tracking of material picked up or delivered to internal customers on Taylor site. Sort and place items in proper designated 6S location on-site. Maintain accurate inventory records. Assist with transfers or deliveries around campus with carts. Assist with transfers or deliveries around campus in motorized golf carts. Assist with loading outbound shipments if needed. Assist with rigging support (equipment crate break-down/transfer and cleanup). Keep work area organized and clean. Track and manage all equipment daily (carts, pallet jacks, tools, etc.). Assist with other tasks as needed. A good job for someone just entering the workforce or returning to the workforce with limited experience and education.
