Location: Washington, DC
Type of Position: Full-time
About the role:
- Collaborate with key stakeholders regarding your students' communication and development in all domains addressed by SLPs.
- Implement AAC and conduct interdisciplinary collaboration to ensure AAC implementation across services.
- Provide therapy using a variety of service delivery models including classroom push-in.
- Determine eligibility of students for speech therapy services and clearly identify necessary classroom accommodations.
- Provide appropriate speech and language intervention for eligible students.
- Participate in team meetings for the development of students' individualized education programs.
- Complete relevant paperwork within required timelines per federal and state law, district policy, and procedures.
- School-based and/or pediatric experience.
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- Valid DC SLP license from the District of Columbia's Department of Health.
- Clinical fellows are welcome to apply
