TMB, Inc is pleased to offer three (3) full-time paid internship positions over a seven-week time frame. The internship is sponsored by the Team Ships Front Office (TSFO) contract at Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) Headquarters in Washington, DC.

Responsibilities:
  • Positions will require visits to our Washington, DC office but will be located primarily at US Navy Shipyards in San Diego, CA, Pascagoula, MS and Bath, ME.
  • Interns will report to a designated TMB employee and Government POCs and will be involved in operational and administrative functions supporting day-to-day activities in designated Shipyards.
Qualifications:
  • Must be training for the United States Coast Guard License and participating in Sea Year training to obtain sea days to be eligible to sit for the License Exams.
  • Ability to work successfully in a fast-paced, production-oriented environment.
  • Ability to effectively plan and organize work activities and prioritize task completion according to schedules and goals.
  • Must be a United States citizen.
  • Must possess an active DOD Secret security clearance or the ability to obtain one.
  • Proficiency using the Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communications skills.
  • Ability to perform frequent internal and external customer interface including regularly scheduled and ad hoc meetings.
  • Ability to travel reasonable distances (up to mile one way) to meet with customers or other company personnel in the execution of job functions.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds in order to carry a laptop, notebooks, papers, binders and other tools and equipment required in the execution of job functions.
