Summary/Objective:
In keeping with our organization’s tradition, we seek to enhance the quality of life and holistic growth of older persons by providing high quality service in a cheerful, timely manner and by communicating, coordinating, and cooperating with others to attain goals. The dietary cook position is responsible for providing nourishing food to residents, guests and employees under sanitary conditions as directed and in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Dietary Cook Essential Functions:
Prepares food for patients and residents.
Ensures food supplies are appropriate and places orders when necessary.
Ensures a clean kitchen and workspace.
Supervises dietary assistant.
Dietary Cook Preferred Education and Experience:
Experience as a Dietary Cook in a health care setting.
