IAM (Identity and Access Management) Delivery Manager

Job Summary: As an IAM Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful implementation and delivery of Identity and Access Management solutions within the organization. You will lead a team of professionals to ensure that IAM projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet the security and compliance requirements of the organization. The role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise in IAM technologies, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders across different departments.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management:

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of IAM projects from initiation to closure.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, and resource allocation schedules.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful delivery.
  • Communicate project status updates and key milestones to stakeholders.

Team Leadership:

  • Build and manage a high-performing team of IAM professionals, including architects, engineers, and analysts.
  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to team members to foster their professional growth and development.
  • Delegate tasks effectively and ensure that team members are aligned with project objectives.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, security, compliance, and business units, to gather requirements and define IAM solutions that meet business needs.
  • Establish strong relationships with key stakeholders and ensure their involvement and support throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Address stakeholder concerns and escalate issues as needed to ensure timely resolution.

Solution Design and Implementation:

  • Work closely with IAM architects and engineers to design scalable and secure IAM solutions that align with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee the implementation of IAM technologies, including identity provisioning, authentication, authorization, and privilege management.
  • Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance to validate the functionality and security of IAM systems.

Security and Compliance:

  • Ensure that IAM solutions adhere to security standards, policies, and regulatory requirements, such as GDPR, HIPAA, SOX, and PCI-DSS.
  • Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and implement remediation measures.
  • Stay updated on emerging threats and industry trends in IAM and cybersecurity.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize IAM processes, enhance efficiency, and increase customer satisfaction.
  • Evaluate emerging IAM technologies and tools, and make recommendations for adoption based on business needs and strategic objectives.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and knowledge sharing within the IAM team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience (3 years) in project management, with a focus on Identity and Access Management.
  • Strong knowledge of IAM principles, technologies, and best practices, including authentication protocols, identity governance, and access controls.
  • Experience with IAM platforms such as Saviynt, Ping Identity, ForgeRock, Okta, Beyond Trust.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Project management certification (e.g., PMP, Prince2) preferred.
  • CISSP, CISM, or other relevant certifications in cybersecurity and information security are a plus.
