We offer great benefits, and exciting challenges for both career development as well as personal leadership development.Company Culture Guidelines & Values:We are Professional.We are Trustworthy and have Integrity.We Communicate.We are a Team.We pursue Excellence.We are Safe.Hughes Engineering & Consulting is currently accepting applications for Project Control Specialists with experience in leading cost controls for CapEx projects within a pharmaceutical or FDA regulated manufacturing environment.Project Control Specialist Responsibilities:Review project scope, strategy, and deliverables with client groups and other stakeholders to execute project tasks associated with small and large capital projects in a cGMP environment.Provide tracking and forecasting of project spending to budget.Utilize appropriate tools to track purchase orders, invoices, payments and cost estimates.Assist as required in qualifying and processing project purchase ordersEnsure all procurement procedures are followed, including competitive bidding.Monitor, approve, and track cost invoices from vendors and contractors.Assist as needed in expediting services for equipment and material.Maintain consistent communication with the project manager concerning project finances.Collect and analyze data and make recommendations on resource planning to clients on the overall Capital Investment Program.Participate in the development of project cost estimates for engineering projects.Support monthly financial projections by analyzing subconsultant and client labor.Research and analyze data and prepare reports and documents for management.You will have:Minimum 5 years of project cost controls experienceMinimum Associate's Degree, Bachelor's Degree preferredSpecific skills associated with project controls, finance, and procurement.Good documentation practicesCritical thinking and problem-solving skillsProven track record of being self-motivated and capable of working in diverse team situations with Company clients.Desired Skills:Project controls experience with pharmaceutical engineering CapEx projects.Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.Why Hughes Engineering & Consulting?High growth potential and fast paced organization with a people focused cultureCompetitive pay plus performance-based incentive programsCompany paid Medical premiums for Employee option.Dental & Vision insurancesCompany paid Life, Short-Term, and Long-Term Disability insurancesHealth Savings Account401(k) Retirement Plan (employer contribution)Paid Time Off (rollover option) and Paid and Floating HolidaysPaid Parental LeaveLeadership development training, career planning, and tuition reimbursementTeam Social Activities (We have fun)Employee RecognitionEngaged and experienced Leadership TeamHughes Engineering & Consulting is a licensed engineering consulting company founded on individual leadership principles with over twenty-five years of experience serving the pharmaceutical industry.
