Controls Engineer, Wartburg, TNJob DescriptionActalent is seeking a Controls Engineer to support a large new expansion involving brand new equipment such as smelters, calciners, furnaces, slag crushers, and pneumatic conveyors. The successful candidate will design, maintain, and troubleshoot machines that use Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC). The role involves managing and maintaining the PLC programming for all machinery on site. The ideal candidate will proficiently use programming languages like structured text, sequential function charts, ladder diagrams to write and document these programs. The role also requires the ability to analyze plant processes and make improvements.
