Job DescriptionESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: •Ensures a fun-filled and exciting environment where the flawless delivery and execution of service excellence is paramount. •Ensures four star service standards through the flawless execution of all assigned duties. •Is responsible for the removal of all foreign materials from linens and uniforms. •Disposes of foreign materials in accordance with established procedures. •Sorts soiled laundry based on type and degree of soil. •Inspects all linen for quality, checking for stains, wrinkles, and overall fabric condition/appearance. •Hangs garments on racks. •Pulls/pushes full and empty laundry carts. •Completes all necessary paperwork in a timely manner. •Maintains work areas and equipment in a clean and orderly condition at all times. •Follows all established safety and security guidelines. •Acts as a role model to other employees and always presents oneself as a credit to Harrah's and encourages others to do the same. •Adheres to all regulatory, company and department policies and procedures. •Completes all other duties as assigned.REQUIREMENTS: •High School diploma or equivalent required. •Prior experience preferred but not required. •Must be a team player. •Ability to stand for long periods of time. •Able to work a flexible shift to include nights, holidays and weekends.JOB DEMANDS: •Lifts up to a maximum of 50 pounds and frequently lifts and/or carries up to 25 pounds. •Position requires 35% standing, 5% sitting, 60% walking. •Requires frequent kneeling, stooping, reaching over head and very frequent bending, pushing, twisting and climbing. •Must be able to read, understand and tolerate the usage of cleaning chemicals. •Must be able to work in a fast paced, stressful environment. •Must have the manual dexterity to operate cleaning equipment and machines. •Must be able to work in areas containing secondary smoke, high noise levels, bright lights and dust. •Requires the ability to respond to speech, touch, smell, aural and visual cues.About UsAt Caesars Entertainment, Inc., our Team Members create the extraordinary.
