This position offers significant opportunity for growth and the opportunity to work under a classically trained chef. Working as a cook in any capacity in one of our restaurants requires learning how to provide the highest level of consistent quality and customer service at all times in every circumstance. We will train the right candidate.Responsibilities include:

1. Cooks require the ability to efficiently and consistently prepare all menu items and specials with great attention to quality, presentation, taste and all other details. This includes the ability to prepare large orders in a manner that preserves the quality of each plate and ensures the overall order is complete and available for serving in a timely manner.

2. Prep Cooks require the ability to learn and establish an efficient routine to ensure all prep is complete to support each of the restaurant venues during their busiest periods, ensuring optimum freshness while avoiding waste.

3. Has the ability under any circumstance to effectively make adjustments to provide the best overall dining experience to all customers for the duration of the shift.

4. Consistently maintains a clean and well organized kitchen at all times.

5. Develops, maintains and enhances positive relations with all customers and employees.

6. Answers questions about the restaurant, the menu and about casino operations completely and accurately.

7. Consistently provides a positive image to all customers and employees.

8. Receives ongoing training, technical direction and guidance from the Lead Cook, Floor Supervisor, Restaurant Manager, and/or Food and Beverage Director.

9. Performs all duties in compliance with all safety standards, all health standards, all internal policies and procedures, and in compliance with the Colorado Limited Gaming Act.

10. Maintains a general awareness of overall restaurant operations at all times. Alerts supervisor immediately of any concerns regarding the quality, selection and variety of all food and beverage.

11. Within the realm of the responsibility of the job, maintains a clean and safe work environment including identifying anyunsafe practices or conditions and informing their supervisor or the Safety Committee of any unsafe conditions as directed.

12. Complies with established security policies and procedures and follows established security protocols to ensure the restaurant environment is safe at all times.

13. Within the realm of the responsibility of the job, ensures all cleaning is thorough and complete at the end of each shift as directed.

14. Performs other duties, including special projects, as needed and directed.

Cook - $16.00+ / hr based on experience

Prep Cook - $16.00+ / hr based on experience
