Job Title: Director of Operations Location: Nottingham, MD Position Type: Full-time, on-site Salary: Competitive, based on experience Job Description: We are seeking a talented and experienced Director of Operations to join our team. The Director of Operations will oversee all operational activities within the division and work closely with the executive team to develop and implement strategies to achieve organizational goals. This individual will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations, monitoring performance metrics, and identifying areas for improvement in the beverage distribution arena. Responsibilities: - Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency and achieve organizational objectives - Oversee and manage all operational activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation - Monitor and analyze performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimize operational processes - Collaborate with department heads to ensure alignment of operational activities with company goals - Coordinate with Human Resources to develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices - Lead and mentor a team of managers and staff to drive success and achieve operational excellence in our beverage distribution warehouse operation - Identify opportunities for growth and expansion within the organization and develop plans to capitalize on them - Serve as a key member of the executive team, providing strategic guidance and insight to support overall company objectives Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field; Master's degree preferred - 5+ years of experience in operations management, with a proven track record of success. Experience in the beverage distribution arena is highly preferred. - Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams - Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities - Experience developing and implementing operational strategies - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment - Knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices in operations management If you are a talented and experienced operational leader looking to make a significant impact within a growing organization, we encourage you to apply for the Director of Operations position.
