Summary:

The Director of Sourcing for Supply Chain will be responsible for leading the sourcing function within the supply chain department. This role will involve developing and implementing sourcing strategies, managing supplier relationships, optimizing costs, mitigating risks, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibility:
Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans aligned with organizational goals and supply chain objectives
Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers who meet quality, cost, delivery, and reliability requirements.
Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms, pricing, and contractual agreements.
Implement cost-saving initiatives and continuous improvement programs to optimize sourcing processes and drive down expenses.
Proactively identify and mitigate risks within the supply chain, including supplier disruptions and market fluctuations.
Foster strong relationships with key suppliers through regular communication, collaboration, and performance reviews.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, logistics, operations, and finance, to ensure alignment of sourcing activities with broader business objectives.
Utilize data analytics and reporting tools to track sourcing performance, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
Ensure compliance with ethical standards, regulatory requirements, and corporate governance policies in all sourcing activities.
Drive a culture of continuous improvement within the sourcing function, seeking opportunities to enhance efficiency and deliver greater value to the organization.

Requirements:

Qualifications:
Proven track record of developing and executing successful sourcing strategies in a fast-paced environment.
Strong negotiation skills and experience managing supplier relationships.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and drive results.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements, ethical standards, and best practices in sourcing and supply chain management.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
Onsite position preferred, hybrid options available.
Education

and/or

Experience:

Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or related field; masters degree preferred. Minimum of 10 years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management, with 4 years in a leadership role.
