Role DataStage Admin Required Technical Skill Set

• Primary responsibility will be to build the platform for Client on RHEL 7.9 and latest version of DataStage.
• To migrate the DataStage jobs from 11.5 (AIX Server) to 11.7 Version (RHEL Server)
• Well versed in Unix Scripts
• Experienced in the DataStage migration projects
• CDC Migration experience

SN Role descriptions / Expectations from the Role 1 DataStage Admin # primary responsibility will be to build the platform for Client on RHEL 7.9 and latest version of DataStage.
2 To migrate the DataStage jobs from 11.5 (AIX Server) to 11.7 Version (RHEL Server) 3 To migrate the CDC Subscriptions 4 Support DataStage developers on troubleshooting the Unix related issues. ssign project roles to Infosphere DataStage suite users in the Infosphere DataStage Administrator client 3 Use the Administrator client to create, delete, and configure projects 4 Use the Designer client to create and edit jobs and other objects 5 Monitoring and analyzing the audit usage data to ensure the optimal usage and efficient performance of the infrastructure. 6 The position will work with the application administrators and development teams to ensure the shared environment resources are optimally utilized. 7 Document Runbooks for the installs, Disaster Recovery plans etc. 8 Stop/start services, monitor logs, setting up Security, assigning roles, project permissions, Create/Delete projects, create/modify environmental parameters etc.. 9 Monitor the Infosphere suite (Data Stage/Quality Stage) servers. Kill/assist release job locks, shared memory locks, hung processes etc... 10 pply fixes, patches and service packs as required. Ensure infrastructure and application stability through preventative maintenance, monitoring, troubleshooting, and implementing long term solutions. 11 Capacity planning for new projects in the shared environment. 12 Liaises with product vendors and technical specialists (IBM or similar) to resolve issues.. 13 Space and server load management and balancing, Regular housekeeping in order to maintain server stability, Performance tuning and resource utilization monitoring.
