Activities Director Responsibilities: Patient assessment and care planning for activities Management of the recreational program, including creating a monthly calendar, providing therapeutic activities, establishing an active volunteer program, composing patient oral histories, and encouraging patient involvement. Activities Director Qualifications: Two years of experience in a social or recreational program within the last five years, one of which was full-time in a patient activities program in a healthcare setting Completion of a state-approved activities training course Activities Director Benefits: Health, dental, vision, and life insurance.
