Join AmTrust Insurance for our Workers Compensation Claims Training Program
In this program, you will learn how to evaluate, negotiate, and resolve a Workers Compensation Claim. This is a 6-month program that includes robust training, job shadowing, and more industry knowledge. At the end of this program, you will be set up for success as a Claims Adjuster on our Workers Compensation team.
At AmTrust, we believe in organic growth and promoting from within. This training program will put you on a Claims career path. Employees will train in all aspects of Workers Compensation claims handling.
Even after the training program completes, AmTrust continues to invest in developing and training all adjusters to continue growing in their claims careers whether that means continuing to move through the adjusting field or wanting to move into leadership. We want to help develop highly skilled adjusters and future leaders as a part of this program
Note, this is an in-office opportunity out of our Dallas, TX office.
Responsibilities:Our Training Timeline
- First 30 Days Getting systems oriented and going through Workers Compensation training in a group setting.
- Next 90 Days Shadowing experienced adjusters and taking on a small claims load to understand the life of a claim.
- 6 Month Mark Receiving your Adjusters license and moving up within your Claims career.
What Youll Learn
- Examination: Determine liability.
- Investigation: Interview claimants, insured, review doctors files and gather notes.
- Negotiation: Learn and be trained in the best negotiation tactics. You will negotiate with claimants and insureds.
- Settlement: Resolve the claim to the findings of the claim.
Qualifications:
Skills Required
- 4-year College Degree OR 3+ years of Corporate Office Experience.
- Customer Service Skills, Collaboration, Dedication, Eagerness to Learn.

The salary range for this role is $26.44/hr. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in New York. Base pay offered may vary depending on, but not limited to education, experience, skills, geographic location, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics. This range may be modified in the future.
