Overview: Join FedWriters as a Social Media Manager and play a pivotal role in the III Armored Corps Public Affairs Office to shape the narrative of the III Armored Corps. You will have the unique opportunity to develop and execute impacting social media communication plans, creating compelling content that resonates with internal and external audiences.

This position will be onsite as Fort Cavazos, TX and will be Monday - Friday, working standard business hours.

Responsibilities: Developing social media content plans consistent with the company's brand identity Creating consistent, meaningful content across all social media platforms, including writing and editing posts, improving customer engagement, and promoting social media campaigns Managing a high volume of daily social media posts and communicating with social media followers Responding to queries in a timely manner Using analytical tools such as Sprinklr, Google Analytics, Hootsuite Pro, and Facebook Insights to monitor and evaluate the company's social media presence and performance Preparing daily social media insight reports and monthly reports on social media marketing efforts Providing weekly social media assessments leveraging analytical tools to annotate current efforts, trends, and recommending engagement strategies Suggesting adjustments to the overall social media marketing strategy for optimal results Staying up to date on best practices and emerging trends in social media Developing social media strategies and content plans within 30 days of the contract award Improving engagement on social media platforms to enhance customer experience Providing a daily social media summary and a weekly social media assessment to inform the command group of current trends and efforts Performing other duties as needed to support communication strategies

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, marketing, or a related field 3 or more years of social media experience including planning and managing content in a corporate, or agency setting Excellent written and verbal communication skills and must have a thorough understanding of social media management and strategy Working knowledge of HTML and CSS Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks Familiarity and experience with incorporating social media management suites and analytical tools such as Hootsuite, Sprinklr, Zignal Labs FedWriters is an Equal Opportunity Employer, including disability/vets.
