Assistant/Project Manager (San Antonio, TX) DNT Construction, LLC is now accepting resumes for a full-time Assistant Project Manager. Come be a part of an amazing organization. Duties and Responsibilities The assistant project manager will be located in our San Antonio office and will assist in managing multiple assigned projects from award through project close?out. The assistant project manager will also be responsible for understanding all aspects of operations. The role requires working cohesively with the Project Manager, Superintendents, Subcontractors, Suppliers, Engineers, Architects, and Clients to ensure all project requirements are carried out successfully. Qualifications and Experience Primary responsibility is to assist the project manager on the following: Supervise Project Superintendents and other personnel as assigned; Manage administrative project aspects, project plans, proposals and project documents/contracts; Track project progress for compilation into owner pay estimates; Obtain permits required for assigned projects; Attend internal pre?construction meetings and owner?mandated pre?construction meetings as required; Interact with field management and field personnel; Maintain MS Project schedules on an ongoing monthly basis; Receive change order requests/RFI from the field and submit to owners for direction and completion; Ensure field employee compliance with safety, quality control programs and all company policies and procedures. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent certification required; OSHA 10?hour training preferred; Must communicate effectively in both written and oral forms; Bilingual (Spanish) preferred; Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals; Mature, flexible, able to command respect and confidence of others, philosophically committed to the objectives of the company, and possess a high tolerance of mental stress; Ability to work well at project sites in the field environment; Ability to prioritize and plan work schedules and use time effectively; Ability to identify and resolve problems collaboratively; Ability to work extended hours as required; Ability to lead and motivate groups; Ability to handle physical and mental stress associated with extended hours; Physically alert for any assigned shift; May be required to possess a valid state drivers license; Must work effectively individually and in a team environment.
