Manufacturing Engineer - Zeeland, MichiganDISHER is currently looking for a Manufacturing Engineer with experience in project management. As a part of the team, you will get to partner with a variety of customers on manufacturing and project-based work. As a Manufacturing engineer, you will communicate with customers, lead, and manage projects and provide manufacturing engineering solutions. We have a growing team of diverse skill sets, passions, and capabilities who like to share their knowledge through mentoring, subject matter communities, DISHER University classes, and collaborative projects.What you will get to do:Provide excellent engineering solutions and go above and beyond for customersCommunicate with customers on project updates, conception, cleanups, and progressAssist customers with manufacturing or project-based engineering workEnsure timeline, budget, and scope are followed for each projectExplore different parts of the engineering within projectsLead projects and project teams in creating solutions for customer issuesCustomize your growth path and work with coach to develop a 5 and 10-year plan including relevant trainings, certifications, and opportunitiesParticipate on DISHER internal project teamsWhat will make you successful:Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, manufacturing or similar degree4+ years of engineering experience Experience working with a diverse range of industriesManufacturing experience working on decommissioning, instillation, updates to lines, and organizational changes to processesStrong communication skills to update and build rapport with customersExposure to Quality or PM systems and documentationHands on knowledge of manufacturing equipment and processes Understanding of moving, purchasing, some designing (small scale tooling/fixtures for example), and implementation of equipmentWillingness to step onto the floor and be hands on when neededPrevious experience worked with quality teams and ability to take quality into account when thinking through runs, lines, and throughputs of installationsWillingness to do what it takes to provide exceptional service and grow the teamMust have the current and continuing right to work in the United States of America without restrictions or expirationsDISHERis a nationally recognized engineering, manufacturing technology, and technical recruiting firm based in Zeeland, Michigan.
