Maumee Bay Lodge, a premier hospitality and restaurant establishment located in Oregon, Ohio, is seeking motivated and experienced Cooks to join our team. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking delicious meals for our guests while ensuring food safety and sanitation standards are met.

This position may be full-time or part-time depending on your availability. Availability days, nights or mid-shifts a plus. Weekends & holidays required. May work the hot line or cold line depending on experience.

Compensation & Benefits:
- Hourly pay rate of $12 to $15 per hour (based on experience)

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards set by the Executive Chef
- Maintain a safe and clean kitchen environment by strictly adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Ensure that all ingredients and supplies are properly stocked and stored
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to plan and execute daily meal prep and service
- Monitor and record food temperatures and prepare foods in accordance with health department regulations
- Assist in menu planning and development, offering creative and innovative ideas to keep our menu fresh and exciting
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and standards as well as all federal, state, and local regulations

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Cook or similar role in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality environment
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Willingness to continuously learn and improve culinary skills
