The

Director, Finance

will serve as a part of the FP&A management team. This role will act as the lead finance partner to PowerSchools International business operations, and partner with senior sales and functional leaders to develop and grow our international operations. This individual will manage a team, directly or indirectly, responsible for performing financial analysis and modeling, designing and preparing the financial plans and budgets, as well as analyzing, interpreting, and communicating financial insights to management. This person will ensure financial and operating decisions are based on accurate financial data and apply financial expertise to inform the organization's strategy.
The ideal candidate will have in-depth experience with reporting and forecasting for bookings, pipeline, upsell and cross-sell, revenue and be able to explain the impacts to functional partners. By way of first-class management reporting, diligent analyses, and strategic modeling, the Financial Planning & Analysis team is the primary financial partner for the business, and is responsible for informing leadership of actual and projected performance, as well as analyzing business trends, changes, and new initiatives in a fast-paced and highly collaborative, cross-functional environment.
We are seeking a experienced FP&A professional with an entrepreneurial drive, strong analytical skills, and proven ability to partner with functional leaders. Financial management experience of international operations is essential to being successful in this role.
Responsibilities

Partner with sales and other functional leaders to drive performance and achieve growth targets.
Own the reporting and forecasting of financial performance for the international business in monthly financial reviews, Board packages, and Budget / Quarterly re-forecasting processes.
Analyze, forecast and explain impact of ARR (Annual Recurring Revenue) and NRR (Net Retention Rate) on actual and projected performance
Build strong partnership with business and centre-of-excellence ("COE") teams and drive collaborative analyses to support revenue and margin growth
Use exceptional Excel skills to contribute to and quality control PowerSchools long-term and short-term forecasting models. Deploy vision to translate modelling to financial planning software where possible.
Work with business teams to educate and improve understanding of financial statements and budget adherence with thoughtful and transparent analysis and partnership
Maintain and enhance efficiency of internal financial reporting processes, serving as a thought leader to upgrade reporting standards through the pursuit of continuous process improvement for our business
Assist in preparation of materials for QBRs and Board meetings.
Hire, train and manage the performance of a team of financial analysts at various PowerSchool offices, including in the COE in India.
Qualifications

To be considered for and to perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.
Qualifications include:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or Statistics; MBA and CPA a plus but not essential.
15+ years of professional experience, including 6-8 years of financial management of international operations.
Experience with forecasting and business partnering, particularly within a SaaS environment.
Strong knowledge/skills in Excel, Adaptive Planning (or similar financial planning software), Salesforce, NetSuite.
Strong influencing skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Demonstrated ability to prepare formal presentations with recommendations and summaries of financial results and forecasted results to executive leadership team.
Highly proficient in financial analysis and establishing KPIs.
Highly motivated and willing to take on multiple responsibilities at once.
Able to work comfortably under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
