Job Summary
  • Alys Shoppe is seeking an energetic and enthusiastic Part-Time and Full Time Sales Associate to join our team for the summer. They will represent Alys Beach at all times by owning the customer experience and providing a superior level of service to homeowners, guests, and visitors.
Job Responsibilities
  • Proactively seek opportunities to enhance the guest's shopping experience through offering a seat, water, or suggesting additional merchandise to complete the wardrobe.
  • Acknowledge guests upon arrival, by name whenever possible.
  • Engage guest throughout transaction- inquire about their stay and follow up with any requests, questions, or concerns.
  • Accurately and efficiently facilitates guest purchase and return transactions.
  • Performs all functions relative to the handling of merchandise or cash in accordance with policy
  • Efficiently process shipment upon arrival with an effort to push out new merchandise.
  • Communicate any discrepancies in reference to inventory in a timely manner
  • Assist with full store retail inventory on designated dates (ex. monthly, quarterly, annually)
  • Exude high energy and enthusiasm while maintaining a positive, respectful, and professional work environment.
  • Communicate professionally and timely with team in reference to all store matters
Job Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to perform basic math functions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
Essential Job Functions
  • Basic computer skills
  • May require standing for long periods of time in a fast paced environment
  • May require lifting of up to 30 pounds

Preferred Skills
  • 2 years Retail Experience
  • Love for fashion and a professional, fashion-forward image
