RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Set up orders for daily shipment, delivery, or pick-up
  • Locate and retrieve parts from inventory at the request of retail and wholesale parts salespersons
  • Deliver the requested parts to the appropriate parts counter, shipping/delivery desk and dealership repair shop as directed by parts salespersons.
  • Make sure that parts pulled and delivered are accompanied by the paperwork required by parts department policy.
  • With or without supervision, perform general housekeeping tasks to keep the parts department safe, clean, and in good order.
  • Assist the shipper/receiver in placing parts in their proper locations in bins, shelves, or racks, etc.
  • Assist in the parts department's perpetual inventory as directed by management.
  • Assist the shipping and receiving clerk (stocker) in their duties when not performing the aforementioned duties.
JOB PERFORMANCE STANDARDS:
  • Prompt and accurate retrieval and delivery of parts within the department.
  • Strict attention to detail regarding the paperwork accompanying parts pulled and delivered to the retail desk, shipping and receiving and the repair shop.
  • Safe, orderly, and clean condition of the parts department.
  • A high level of cooperation with all parts department personnel.
  • A high level of uniform appearance, personal hygiene, and work habits.
  • Full time 40hr + week
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Have a High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Have experience with auto parts sales (preferred)
  • Are able to work in a fast-paced work environment
  • Have strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ford and Lincoln experience is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to lift 50lbs
  • valid drivers license
  • Fork lift Experience is preferred but not required
