Senior Software Development Engineer

Job Summary:

Altair Pulse is new tool that orchestrates meaningful models from the broad workflows required to simulate complex systems of systems to the focused workflows needed to enable fast, reliable, and repeatable modeling, analysis, and optimization. As a senior developer you will help develop and maintain enterprise version of the orchestration platform.

What You Will Do:

Design, develop and maintain product features in C and PythonCollaborate with leads to translate requirements to functional designsWriting clean, maintainable, thoroughly tested, and shippable production codePerform code reviewsAdhere to defined development process

Basics:5-6 years experience with developing desktop products using C and PythonStrong object oriented design and development skillsExpert knowledge in CExpert knowledge in IPC, multi-threading, signals, scheduling, sockets, memory management, etc.,Working experience with Makefiles, Git, Boost librariesPreferred:

Python ExperienceTools - git, jira, Jenkins.Technology stack - QT, Database technology (any of ArangoDB, PostGresQL, MongoDB).
