As part of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely delivery of goods and services across various regions, enhancing our commitment to optimizing supply chain solutions for our clients. Operate Class A commercial vehicles across regional routes to transport goods to and from designated locations efficiently and safely. Adhere to all federal, state, and local regulations regarding the safe operation of commercial vehicles. Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure that mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order. Manage routes and routines to maximize efficiency and reduce costs, while maintaining strict schedules. Keep up-to-date logs of travel and cargo information as required by the company and governmental agencies. Communicate effectively with dispatch and logistics staff to troubleshoot any issues and optimize routes. Maintain cleanliness and functionality of the vehicle to uphold the company's standards and make necessary reports of vehicle status. Strong driving record with proficiency in operating Class A commercial vehicles. Good geographical knowledge and effective route planning skills. Ability to work independently and handle physical requirements of the job, including the loading and unloading of cargo. Strong time management and customer service skills. Proficiency in using GPS and other routing systems. Effective communication skills.
