Billing Agent

Job Description:

As a Billing Agent at Urbanex Pest Control, you will serve as a crucial link between our company and our valued customers. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering a top-notch customer experience while also ensuring that Urbanex receives compensation for all services performed. Each customer interaction must reflect Urbanex's high standards of professionalism and care. This role is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are passionate about the customer experience and who are looking to thrive in a collaborative, dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:
•Ensure high-quality customer interactions that align with Urbanex's commitment to excellence.
•Execute outbound calls to customers with outstanding balances in order to collect payment.
•Prepare, post, verify, and record customer payments and transactions related to accounts receivable.
•Draft correspondence for standard past-due accounts and collections, identifies delinquent accounts by reviewing files, and contacts delinquent accountholders to request payment.
•Maintains and updates customer files as they relate to billing needs.
•Creates reports regarding the current status of customer accounts as requested.
•Research customer discrepancies and past-due amounts with the assistance of the Collections Manager and other staff.
•Assists in generating monthly billing statements based on the general ledger.
•Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
•High School Diploma or GED required.
•A minimum of 2 years' experience in a Billing Representative/Agent role.
•Strong communication skills, comfortable with a variety of communication channels including phone, text, and email.
•Proficiency in handling high-volume, fast-paced call center operations.
•Commitment to sitting at a desk and working on a computer for prolonged periods.

Candidates must be willing to complete a background check for this position
