Job Summary:
The EHS Coordinator will work closely with the EHS Specialist to conduct safety trainings, implement safety programs, and perform various safety-related tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for safety, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the EHS Specialist in developing and delivering safety training programs for employees at all levels.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Support the implementation of EHS policies and procedures across the organization.
  • Track and maintain records of safety training, certifications, and incident reports including performing administrative tasks as necessary.
  • Assist in investigating workplace incidents, identifying root causes, and recommending corrective actions.
  • Participate in safety meetings, contributing ideas and suggestions to improve workplace safety.
  • Help coordinate emergency response drills and maintain emergency preparedness plans.
  • Collaborate with various departments to promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
  • Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices related to environmental health and safety.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field preferred but not required.
  • Experience working in manufacturing environment
  • 1-3 years of experience in an EHS role or similar position.
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations and other relevant safety standards.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Certifications such as OSHA 30-Hour, First Aid/CPR, or similar are a plus.
